Recommended for ages 8 years and up
Setup the Game: Shuffle the deck of Trio cards and deal 3 cards to each player. Place the remaining deck face-down in the center as the draw pile.
Take Turns Drawing and Discarding: On your turn, draw one card from the deck, then discard a card from your hand face-up to the discard pile. The goal is to collect matching sets of three cards.
Form a Trio: To score, you need to collect three cards of the same type. Once you have a trio (three matching cards), place them face-up in front of you. Each trio you complete scores points.
Use Action Cards: Some cards have special abilities that can help you disrupt your opponents or aid in forming a trio. Keep an eye on these cards for strategic advantages.
End of the Round: The round ends when all players have formed as many trios as they can or when the draw pile is empty. Points are tallied for completed trios.
Repeat and Score: Repeat the rounds until a set number of rounds is completed, or if players agree to end after a certain number of trios. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
