Recommended for ages 6 years and up
Form Teams and Assign Roles: Divide into teams of two. Each team chooses an Instructor and a Builder. The Instructor will see the model card; the Builder will not.
Draw a Model Card: The Instructor draws a card showing a LEGO structure the team must recreate. Only the Instructor may look at the card—no showing, no gestures, no pointing, and no physical guidance.
Prepare the LEGO Bricks: Give each Builder the same set of LEGO pieces required for the round. Builders keep their hands ready while Instructors study the model.
Start the Timer: When the round begins, the Instructor verbally describes the model step-by-step. The Builder must interpret the instructions and assemble the structure as accurately as possible—pure communication only!
Stop When Time Runs Out: When the timer ends, all Builders must stop immediately. Teams compare their builds to the model card to see how close they got.
Score and Switch Roles: Award points based on accuracy (depending on the rule set you use). After scoring, teams switch roles and begin the next round. Play until every team has built multiple times, then tally points to determine the winning pair!
