Ever wondered what it’s like to run the most amazing toy store? For many children, the Toy Kingdom Kiddie Crew program is an opportunity to live out this dream.
This summer playventure that started in 2014 transforms young participants into mini-staff members, teaching them the ropes of the working in a toy store through the lens of play and imagination. Due to popular demand, the workshop is now shortened to 3 days, offered at additional branches and with more schedules than before to accommodate more children in the program.
Over the three-day workshop designed for children ages 6 to 9 years old, they get to experience what goes on behind the scenes of their favorite store. They gain knowledge in customer greeting, gift wrapping, selling, and cashiering. Moreover, the kids learn through play and build their confidence, social skills, and a sense of responsibility in a fun, supportive environment.
